Rabbi Shlomo Kluger zt"l
English translation of commentaries on the weekly parsha and tanach,
festivals and other occasions, and various mishnayos and gemoras.

This website is primarily dedicated to translating some of Rav Kluger’s works into English, elucidating where necessary to make them easily understood, but in addition we are translating and elucidating books from other Rabbis in order to give a wider choice of style and content.

Rabbi Shlomo Kluger (1786-1869) was born in Komarow, Russian Poland. From the earliest age he learned Torah with extreme diligence and rose to become one of the leading halachic authorities of his time. He was the Rabbi and Dayan in several communities, but for more than 50 years he was the Rabbi of Brody. He was a prolific writer, writing more than 160 books, but not all of them were printed.
